Is your New Year’s resolution to have more fun? If so, come join the Ladies of the Rolling Pin! The Ladies are currently recruiting new dancers and musicians! If interested, contact Marjie at email@example.com.
Thanks to Rhode Island Monthly for featuring us as one of their 20 “Rhode Island-Inspired Halloween Costumes!” Talk about a great way to bring on the treats rather than tricks!
The Ladies of the Rolling Pin had a blast at the Prime Ale in Berthoud, CO this past July! Thanks to our gracious hosts, Breathless in Berthoud. It was wonderful to meet so many amazing Border Morris teams. We are pleased to report that the Ladies have as much fun at 6,000 feet as they do at sea level!
Due to torrential rain, the Ladies have decided to postpone our May 1 sunrise dance. We will celebrate May Day on Friday, May 2 at 5:40 a.m. This gives you an extra day to pick up your copy of RI Monthly, which includes a lovely write up on this tradition! We’ll see you on Friday, by the Towers in Narragansett!
We are so proud of dancer Lou Ann, who will travel to Sochi as part of the support team for the U.S. Men’s Ski Jumping Team! Read more here!
We had a wonderful time hosting Features Editor Kristin Tomaiolo at our practice. Read about her experiences here:
“My First Morris Dance Lesson”
“These women have so much fun; their laughter, high spirits and unparalleled passion are infectious. I feel happy and cannot wipe the grin off my face.”
Come celebrate May Day, May 1, with a sunrise Morris Dance celebration at the Narragansett Towers! There will be joyous dancing, delightful music, and (weather permitting) a sunrise over the ocean. If this isn’t enough to get you out there at 5:40 am, there will be a free breakfast afterwards! Come join us for this annual celebration of Spring!
The Ladies of the Rolling Pin are looking for new dancers and musicians! Come to our Open House practices to experience the thrill of being part of this delightful group of dancers and musicians…

We had a wonderful time at the Marlboro Ale, starting a swashbuckling sword fight and airing out our laundry. We also introduced our sweet cupcake!
Thanks to all who came out to see us dance at dawn at Narragansett Beach!
